Freedom fighters of the Afghanistan Freedom Front carried out an attack on the Taliban militia’s so-called Department for the Promotion of Virtue for Faryab Province in the provincial capital, Maymana, on the evening of November 30, 2025.

This pre-planned attack targeted the gathering of the Taliban’s religious inspectors as they were leaving the department building. As a result, two members of the Taliban militia were killed and two others were wounded. The fate of the department head remains unclear at this time.

The Taliban’s white-clad inspectors reportedly gather at this center daily and patrol the city in groups of three to five, allegedly harassing civilians, especially women.

Previously, Afghanistan Freedom Front has targeted armed Taliban inspectors in Kabul, Takhar, Kapisa, and other provinces.

No casualties were inflicted on the Freedom Front in this attack.
