At around midday today, Saturday, July 25, 2026, Afghanistan Freedom Front fighters shot down and destroyed two military drones belonging to the Taliban terrorist group while they were conducting operations over areas of Zebak District, Badakhshan Province, under the control of the AFF.
\nIn recent days, the Taliban terrorist group has mobilized all available military resources, equipment, and capabilities in an extensive effort to advance toward the strongholds of the AFF. However, these attempts have been met with organized resistance and determined defense by Freedom fighters, resulting in the failure of the Taliban’s offensive operations. During these clashes, the Taliban also suffered casualties and sustained material losses.
\nAdditionally, yesterday afternoon, AFF fighters carried out a timely operation that prevented Taliban helicopters carrying reinforcements from landing in Zebak District.
