On Friday evening, May 9, 2025, at around 8 PM, freedom fighters of the Afghanistan Freedom Front carried out a gorilla attack on a Taliban militia checkpoint near Bandar e Khan Abad, close to the former headquarters of Police District 4 of Kunduz, the capital city of Kunduz province.
As a result of this operation, two Taliban militants were killed and another was wounded.
It is worth noting that in recent weeks, Taliban militias had been harassing local residents and even pedestrians by setting up checkpoints in the area.
