Two Attacks in One Day in Pul-e-Khumri

On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, the freedom fighters of the Afghanistan Freedom Front carried out two guerrilla attacks in Pul-e-Khumri, the capital city of #Baghlan province. As a result, five Taliban militia members were killed and three other members of this terrorist group were wounded.
In the first attack, the guerrillas targeted a Ranger vehicle carrying Taliban militias in the central square of Pul-e-Khumri. Two Taliban terrorists were killed, and one was injured. The Taliban’s military Ranger vehicle was also destroyed.
The second attack took place shortly after the first operation. It targeted a Taliban outpost located at the entrance to the provincial Urban Development Directorate, near the Pol e Afsotar in PD1 Pul-e-Khumri city.
This operation resulted in the deaths of three Taliban militia members and injuries to two other armed members of the group.
The fate of Mawlawi Nuri, the Taliban commander stationed at the outpost and the main target of the operation, remains unknown.
No casualties were reported among the fighters of the Freedom Front during either operation.
